It's been a while...Nothing new I guess...just seen a few movies, celebrated a year w/ Kathryn, still working, and found a new movie to get hyped about other than The Village...Garden State written, directed, and starring Zach Braff (NBC's Scrubs) Natalie Portman, Ian Holm, Peter Sarsgaard, Jean Smart, etc. It's about guy who lives in a anti-depressant comatose life who returns home to New Jersey for his mother's funeral after 9 years of being absent. He then meets new friends, rekindles old friendships, slowly becomes closer to his father, and falls in love. I remember seeing the trailer when I saw Eternal Sunshine, and thinking how cool it looked, and so I found the teaser and theatrical trailers online...they are amazing. You can check them out here:

The song in the teaser trailer is called "Let Go" by Frou Frou...its pretty awesome.
Not exactly sure when it opens nationally, but it opens in NY/LA on July 28th. You can read Zach Braff's blog just for Garden State at this website...its hilarious:
