Charlie Kaufman: I don't want to cram in sex or guns or car chases or characters learning profound life lessons or growing or coming to like each other or overcome obstacles to succeed in the end. The book isn't like that, and life isn't like that, it just isn't.
-Adaptation.
I picked two quotes from Adaptation because they both kickass. I bought Adaptation this weekend in Dallas. I also purchased Arrested Development Season One DVDs! SO funny...
So this weekend was my super sweet trip to A&M and Dallas. I'll try to sum it up in a few paragraphs and let the photos do the talking. Yes, I am aware that a lot of people read my blogs just to look at the pictures. WHAT ARE YOU TWELVE?...motherfuckers. I could be plotting the domination of the entire world on this blog, and some people wouldn't care b/c they'd be looking at pictures of me eating or something...haha. I just laughed at my own joke. I'm sad.
Anyway, I left SA town around 3 on thursday, and the drive was...tolerable. I sang a lot on my way to A&M and took pictures of myself. When I got to A&M I couldn't get a hold of Kristen b/c the Cingular service out there was down for some reason. Kim and I just when to Freebirds, and then rented Mean Creek.
We drove up to Dallas the next day around 11. When we got there we basically just hung around the house until dinner time. We had some really good sushi at this small restaurant called TEPPO. My camera broke that day so I didnt' get any pictures from that night...damn. Kim let me use her camera on Saturday so I'd have pictures to post....phew!
Saturday was fun. We went shopping at this sweet shopping center w/ a Virgin Megastore and Urban Outfitters...we spent a lot of time waiting for kimberly in UO, and she only bought a pair of shoes...stupid bitch. Anyway, that night we bought some food at World Market and grilled out and drank at Laura and Kevin's house. Good times...
The drive home SUCKED! Kim and I argued off and on, and it was raining the entire way. The drive back from A&M was pretty boring. I think I listened to Jigga What/Faint by Jay-Z and Linkin Park about 50 times.
Okay, I'm tired of typing...so just look at the pictures. They're funny...
The first hour in the car! I was very excited!
About two hours into the trip. I wasn't very excited.
Cool
At Kim's apartment. Those granola bars are SO gross. My mom and I bought them, we hated them, so she sent them w/ me to give to kimberly...she hated them too.
At Freebirds...
At Kim's Apartment again...
Laura and Kevin's house. I get vertigo looking down...
Look! I'm from The Village, bitch!
Off Laura and Kevin's balcony...more townhouses.
At Rockfish in the shopping center for lunch.

Kevin grilled some chicken and beef for us on Saturday...SO good!

Yeah, I'm sorry that all cell phones in the College Station area were fucked up... stupid city (if you can call it that) that I live in. Anyway, I'm glad you had such a good weekend. Alex and I missed you when we ate at the OG and when we went and saw Meet The Fockers. =( Oh well... I'm coming home on the 26th so we'll hang out then. Alrighty.. Jeopardy time. Bye bitch!
Thanks for the comment. Love the escalator picture!! Awesome perspective. You should really check out Photo Friday. (www.photofriday.com) I bet you'd enjoy their weekly photo challenge.
And how did you get a 100 on my quiz? You really freaked out Lacie, my best friend of 9 years, who got a 60. Haha. I'm totally impressed!
Oh you know what, I was watching Friends tonight with my roomate and I think you look like Matthew Perry. We also watched Conan - reminded me of you too.
