For those of you who kept Sadie in your thoughts, thanks. She made it through surgery okay, and was definitely glad to see our faces in the waiting room when we came to pick her up. I'm not sure if her ear was itching or she just missed me, but the first thing she did when she saw me was thrust her head into my legs and left it there for a while. Our veterinarian now refers to Sadie as the "Wonder Dog...We keep wondering why she's still alive"
You can see most of the tiny metal sutures in her ear. It looks painful, but she's a tough little bitch.

I rented a couple more movies recently. CAUTION: Do not rend SAW. Shittiest acting and worst makeup ever in the history of film. The idea of the movie was okay I guess, but the movie as a whole was laughable. The ending will get you though...
Do rent, on the other hand, Maria Full of Grace and The Motorcycle Diaries. Maria Full of Grace follows a seventeen year old Columbian girl on a suspensful journey to New York with a stomach full of latex-covered heroin. That's all I should really say without getting into details. Wonderful performance my Catalina Sandino Moreno...
The Motorcycle Diaries was one of those movies that I just randomly picked up on a whim. I had read a little about it in PREMIERE and also noticed it got nominated for a couple of Oscars. It's one of the most beautiful films I've ever seen. Beautiful not only in scenery and acting, but in it's subtle messages whispered in your ear throughout the movie. The movie follows Che Guevara and Alberto Granado in 1952 on a journey through South America with their simple goals being to enjoy themselves, and meet girls along the way. "As the trip unfolds at the behest of their spluttering motorcycle, the boys discover more about themselves than they ever imagined possible." Sometimes the movie seemed so real, it felt like you were watching a documentary of the social injustice in Latin America at the time. Wonderful performance by Gael Garcia Bernal as Che Guevara, by the way. I love this movie!
'The Mighty One' (the motorcycle)

In the middle of nowhere...

Magnificent!

Oh yea, before I forget. I have two more pictures of the sky. The clouds were built up so tall, and I couldn't resist...

Laters for now!

I lead a very pathetic existence. It revolves around Jeopardy, reading blogs, and eating toast for every meal of the day. It also involves avoiding math, chemistry, or any form of homework or studying in general. Thus, me and my own lame and boring self must resort to bothering you so that I can have something new to read. Anyway, after staying up until 5:30am, when I had an 8am exam, I am going to go crash. Sleep is another essential part of my existence... haha, ok, I'm just really tired, so sorry for all that. Regardless, I'm SO glad Sadie is ok, because that dog is awesome, and we all love her like she is our own dog. Can't wait til Spring Break! =) Plan some good stuff for us to do! Adios for now....
Hey, so I guess you didn't get the IM I sent you... so, here's what's up. I am currently in Garden City, where I get little to no cell service, what so ever. It sucks balls. Darren's cell doesn't get service either, so we're stuck. But anyway, we are leaving for San Antonio tomorrow morning, and wanted to do something with you and Alex in the afternoon. I'll call you when we are on our way. Hope you're not working!!!! Well, if I find any service I'll give you a call tonight (monday), but if not, I'll talk to you tomorrow morning! k?! =) bye bitch!
Kristen, we thought you had been kidnapped. After not hearing from you for a while, we drove by your hosue and rung the doorbell. It's all making sense though now that we know where you are...phew. I'll seeya tomorrow!
