Windows Down, Music Loud

I've been in a strange mood this week. I feel like I'm losing all motivation to do any work at all. It seems like the more stress of school and work I have on my shoulders, the more lazy I get. I hate it. I replay the same day over and over everyday it seems. I still feel useless here, and I want something new, fast.

I have a Sociology paper due the 19th, but it seems like something far off in my head. I need to get started, but its hard to find that work ethic in me right now.

I feel myself around friends, but I feel like somebody else when I'm alone. I don't belong in San Antonio right now. I need to spend a few hours just to get shit done, and get some of that weight off my back because its making me feel depressed. The election certainly didn't help.

I was just watching the news, and they gave a monkey at the zoo a picture of John Kerry to rip up. What douches...they have no respect. Speaking of no respect, I overheard my own mother talking to my sister (who mind you has never registered to vote before and she's 25) saying that the only reason I voted for Kerry was because I wanted to do something different than my parents. My dad laughed at me when I told him about it and insisted that it's a good thing that Bush got reelected. Fuck that. They give me no credit and I'm 18 years old...a legal adult. I hate that they are so ignorant sometimes...

I'm buying tickets to a concert tomorrow. 'Not So Silent Night' on December 15th with music by Switchfoot, Bowling for Soup, Gavin Degraw, etc. Not a big fan of some of the musicians, but since Switchfoot will be playing, I'm there. I fucking love Swithfoot. Finally, something to look forward to.

Sorry I'm complaining... Here are pictures I took today for some cheap laughs:

Switchfoot rocks! I wish I had a chance to see them again. Also the picture at Gymboree is funny because my roommate is a manager at a Gymboree here in New York.
