I have never been able to say that I can go to Schlitterbahn without anything terrible happening to me. I lost a bag there once w/ valuables in it, I got a terrible sunburn another time, I got lost another. But maybe this time, just once, I could go and nothing negative would happen. I made it through the entire 10 hours on Saturday without any mishaps...right? Hell no. I think I might have broken a world record for worst sunburn ever to strike mankind. My shoulders (the worst part) are covered with blisters that burn like a motherfunker. Fortunately, I went to the doctor today and got prescribed some sort of sterioid that will apparently rid of my inflamation. I spent my birthday sitting on my ass paralyzed in a recliner. Thanks Kristen, Krista, and Kato for calling me and wishing me happy b-day. Hopefully by like thursday I'll feel fine enough to actually move around my house.
Anyway, something interesting happened today. Kim went to Best Buy to get me some DVD's for my b-day and she ran into this grungy hard rock looking guy that sparked a conversation about movies she was buying like Donnie Darko. His name was Joey she said and he asked her if she lived here, and he said that he had just arrived here b/c he had a concert tonight at Verizon. She asked what band and he was like "Well, I'm John Mayer"...actually he didn't...wouldn't that be cool though? He was the drummer from Slipknot. Kinda weird I guess. She was bragging about it saying "I met a celebrity!", but I responded saying "If thats what you can actually call someone from slipknot". hehe.
Well, I'm gonna go sit on my ass and wait until dinner...laters.

"It was as if though this plan had been with him all his life..."
I went to Austin on Wednesday. We arrived around 5:30 or so, and went to this "really cool" park that Kathryn said was like Pedernales. Unfortunately, we had no swim suits and the waterfall area was all dried up. So we left to go shop at Urban Outfitters. That's a great store. We read this book they had there called "Would you rather..." and it had a bunch of scenarios that you had to choose between such as, "Would you rather have to take showers in a store's window display for the rest of your life, or would you rather masturbate in front of your 4th grade teacher." They were way funny. We then went to the Boatyard to sit on the back patio that views the water, but it was taken up by a huge party, so we ate at Hula Hut which was pretty good too.
This summer started off at a very slow pace, but things are starting to pick up and I'm having fun with my friends and Kathryn. Our year anniversary is coming soon on July 8th. Its already been a year! So many things have changed since last year, especially the people I know (or knew). But, change isn't always bad. I'm trying to milk every minute of summer before we all go off to school. Kristen made another to-do list for summer(she's borderline obsessive compulsive w/ to-do lists). Hopefully, we can complete that list before August. I'm also looking forward to Laura's wedding, and of course the bachelor party in Austin w/ Kevin. Holla (God, I'm white...) Anyway, laters for now...

Better Luck Tomorrow
What a strange past few days...On Saturday, I went up to HEB to "train" for the last time before I worked. This girl I knew, and I were drug around the store for an hour while one of the admin. talked about four hundred different things really quickly. It went through one ear, and out the other. We then went upstairs into this office and learned how to access our schedules on this computer. It didn't necessarily make me excited to see that I had to work from 1-9:30 the next day. I swear when I saw that I had to work an eight hour shift, I felt a turd pop out of my ass.
So, I woke up on Sunday supposed to feel "prepared" to work my first day at HEB. I showed up at one, and as soon as I stepped in the door I was shoved into a couple registars and forced to bag groceries flying at me at 100 mph. As soon as I got the hang of that, I was told to work the parking lot, which meant I pushed a bunch of baskets from the lot to the front. The highlight of my day was when I bagged a box of lubricating jelly for some dirty old couple...jk. Actually, Kristen, Alex, and Steph Lee showed up, but I had to carryout some groceries for some bitch before they got to me in the line. So, I met them outside and talked for about 3 seconds. Finally, I got off work, and met Alex, Kristen, and Steph at my house, got food, and went to Vineyard pool, and then scenic loop drive.
Yesterday I had to completely clean out everything in my pimp mobile, and wash it so we could trash it for some money. I bet they only offered like $15 for it.(POS) But after that, Kathryn, Kristen, Alex, and I went to Six Flags. It was pretty fun, although I thought I was going to die on the rattler of a heart attack. My chest was pounding against the seat SO hard and I couldn't breathe, and Kathryn was too busy to care as she yelled, "I SWALLOWED MY THROW-UP, I SWALLOWED MY THROW-UP!!" But we had a lot of fun nonetheless at TC's afterwards too.
Oh yea...today we were supposed to drive up to Austin (Kathryn, Alex, Kristen, and I), but of course its drizzling outside and my mom wouldn't let me go today. Perhaps I'll have better luck tomorrow...later.

"I have nothing to do, and I'm doing it tomorrow"
Last night I attended my orientation and sacking skills class for HEB. It lasted a total of four hours. Probably the longest four hours in my entire life. The majority of the time, I sat staring at the window wondering what would happen if I jumped out. I sat at a table with some different walks of life. I recognized two girls at my table from a previous meeting at HEB. One was about my age, and she wore a Sum-41 leather arm band, with her hair up and messy. I figured she thought she was "punk". For some reason, her grunge look didn't really match well w/ the bright red HEB polos, hehe. The other girl was 20 something. She liked to talk about how screwed up her life was. She must talk about her shitty life to gain attention. The only other guy at my table was a short, asian kid that whispered to himself the entire session. I wanted to jab a pen in my eye.
Anyway, orientation was pretty basic. We watched about 32 videos, which got old. Sacking skills class was a little more fun. We were sent to a room with about 6-7 checking registers in which we role played the customer, checker, and baggers. After sitting for 4 hours straight w/ out saying a word, I felt the sudden urge to scream the F-word in my car driving home, so I did. (my way of relieving stress other than taking a shit).
So now, I'm an official CSA at HEB. All I gotta do now is call up my admin. and let them know I'm ready to set up my schedule. Who knows when that will be...whenever I'm ready.
Oh, if you're wondering about my title, I was watching the fuzzy channell for HBO this morning, and some old lady on broadway had just retired from her last show saying, "Damn, I have nothing to do tomorrow. I can't remember who said this, but the saying goes, 'I have nothing to do, and I'm doing it tomorrow'." Eh, just reminded me of myself. That quote will stick w/ me awhile.
Ah yes, last thing (I swear). Just an update on movie's I've seen: Stepford Wives was decent. The cast saved the movie from some stupid scenes, but other than that it was pretty funny. Thats about it, folks. Later!

What's w/ these titles?
Two nights ago I went w/ Kristen and her little brother Adam to see the sneak preview of "The Notebook". Pretty decent! The chic from "The Hot Chick" and "Mean Girls" was the lead, and she popped out of nowhere and became a good actress. I was impressed. It's definitely a good date movie. Sorta predictable, but otherwise good.
On June 18th, this movie I've read a lot about for like a year is coming out called "Darkness" w/ Ana Paquinn. *Spelling?* It's another haunted house thriller, but looks REALLY awesome! You can look it up on UpcomingHorrorMovie.com and watch the preview. (Very creepy)
The other day at "Saved", I saw the preview for "Vanity Fair" w/ Reese Witherspoone, and the music in the background was familiar, and very cool. I looked it up and its by a group called E.S. Posthumus and the song is called "Nara"...you can listen to a little bit of it at cdbaby.com.
Anyway, last night Kathryn and I watched the Lakers game until 11 and went to Sonic for ice cream w/ Kristen. Yea, that's about it. Tonight I'll probably do something uneventful as usual. Until then, laters!

100 Times?
I woke up late this morning...well, noon is late for me. Everyone in my family is out shopping and I'm at home watching Donnie Darko for the 14th time. My goal is to watch that movie 100 times, just so I can tell everyone that I've seen a movie 100 times. Speaking of movies, I saw "Saved" last night. I read an article about it previously, and it gave great reviews, and also mentioned that it "didn't bash Christianity." That was a load! It was a decent movie, other than questionable acting, the whole Christian bashing thing, and an iffy script in some scenes. Seemed more like a typical teen comedy near the end also. But I would reccomend it to open-minded Christians. Tonight, I'm going to see "The Notebook" sneak peek...Wasn't my choice, but oh well.
Oh! Kathryn had told me earlier in the week that they were going to re-release Donnie Darko to theaters w/ better special effects, and music, etc. Turns out, they are (after seeing an ad in PREMIERE magazine). I looked up some info online, and apparently its only going to be playing in 10 cities nation wide. SUCK! Hopefully it'll be playing in Austin...then I could just drive up there to see it.
Anyway, I'm out of things to talk about now. Seeya...

Summer Days...
Last time you read my blog. I had just been ridiculed in front of my English 4 class after my teacher found my blog (long story) and read it line by line to the entire room. How humiliating? Next time I talk smack about teachers...it won't be on a computer.
Kathryn and I were driving home last night and she told me I should restart my blog b/c now I don't have any teachers to worry about finding it... I guess she's right. I've spent my summer staring at a television for countless hours every day. My job at HEB doesn't start anytime soon. I have a "sacking skills" class next week, and then my summer will probably pick up speed. I'll have a reason to wake up in the mornings. (That sounded suicidal..hehe)I'm starting out as a "CSA"...or customer service assistant, which is a flashy title for a bagger. I'm excited b/c Kimberly said she's gonna buy a huge case of maxi pads and make me bag them. haha!
Hmm...what else about my summer? Well, I can officially say I have a favorite movie! It's called Donnie Darko starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Jena Malone, Drew Barrymore, Patrick Swayze, Noah Wyle, Mary McDonnel, Katharine Ross, Holmes Osborne, etc. Its about a teenaged boy who suffers from Paranoid Schizophrenia *spelling?* who has daylight hallucinations of a 6ft. bunny rabbit that predicts the world will end in 28 days. Sound crazy? I guess it is, but Richard Kelly (writer/director) pulls it off. Everyone needs to see this movie. It is hilarious, suspensful, heartbreaking, and...and, well you just HAVE to see it! I have seen it a total of 13 times exactly. Is that sad?
Anyway, other than watching Donnie Darko, and television, my summer has consisted of very rarely 'going out' (meaning sitting on my ass at somebody's house or at the movies). I bet you're jealous. Well, better wrap things up for today. I probably won't post everyday, b/c I always find myself typing out too many feelings and digging myself a grave to crawl out of. For now, laters!
