Is it pronounced...douche?

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. The past few days have been hell due to overwhelming school work. I just had a Geology test Wed. that I somehow managed a B on...I can do better. I've been mainly focused on my Sociology Paper due next Friday. I'm having the hardest time trying to find online journals. If anybody knows a good site where I can search and access online journals having to do with Social Pressures among Teenagers, then let me know.

Oprah 4 President!

I actually got a little studying done tonight. I find that procrastination, although enjoyable, will lead me in the wrong direction...duh.

I got a haircut, bitches!

Check me out!

Picture 094

I got to Sociology a little early today, and while sitting outside the classroom, I watched students walk by and was reminded more and more why I shouldn't be at UTSA. I hate the thought of knowing that I go to the same school as the NBDs...(slutty high school clique)

I hate people that say they hate people that do certain things, but never mention their name, but know good and well that person knows exactly who they're talking about to piss them off b/c it never works.

Tonight, after the library, I picked Alex up to go buy toys at Super Target. I read somewhere that if you buy two toys at least $5 in value and take them to Chuy's, you get a ticket to the Not So Silent Night concert. The manager gave us three tickets instead of two, so now we can take anyone we want for free...rad

Nicolas Cage is on The Tonight Show promoting National Treasure. That is one movie I would pay not to see.

They announced a little while back that Conan O'Brien will take over the tonight show when Jay Leno retires a few years from now. God, I hope they don't change Conan's show that much b/c his show kicks ass compared to Leno's.

Today I discovered this huge ass motherfucking spider that spun a web the size of my car tires on a tree in our yard. My mother suggested I take a picture of it, but as I was attempting, I got too close and scared it. It started to run up the web really quickly, and scared the shit out of me so I ran inside like a little girl. But luckily tonight, I got close enough to get a decent picture...

Sorry, We're Open...Yes! We're Closed

Krista and Curtis came into town this weekend!

Friday, after work, I met Alex, Steph Lee, and them at Jim's for dinner. We went to Alex's afterwards to watch White Chicks. Funny ass movie.

Saturday I went to work, and then crammed into Alex's truck w/ some of the seniors from Clark to drive up to Austin so that they could look at the campus. Somehow we were able to fit me, Lisa, Alex, Kelly, Brian, Jordan, and Jacque into Alex's truck. Austin was pretty cool, although we picked the worst day to come since there was a game and we sat in traffic. We went to a few places on campus, but just ended up spending most our time shopping. I got some kick ass sunglasses that look rediculous on me, but hey, they still kick major ass.

I look like a poser!
Picture 091

You know what also kicks ass? The show on Sci-Fi called Scare Tactics. Its another hidden camera show, but all they do is scare the shit out of people. Why is it funny to watch other people in anguish? American culture is seriously fucked up, BUT I LOVE IT!

I saw The Incredibles this weekend and it was really damn good. Everyone should see it b/c its hilarious, visually stunning, and really entertaining.

Windows Down, Music Loud

I've been in a strange mood this week. I feel like I'm losing all motivation to do any work at all. It seems like the more stress of school and work I have on my shoulders, the more lazy I get. I hate it. I replay the same day over and over everyday it seems. I still feel useless here, and I want something new, fast.

I have a Sociology paper due the 19th, but it seems like something far off in my head. I need to get started, but its hard to find that work ethic in me right now.

I feel myself around friends, but I feel like somebody else when I'm alone. I don't belong in San Antonio right now. I need to spend a few hours just to get shit done, and get some of that weight off my back because its making me feel depressed. The election certainly didn't help.

I was just watching the news, and they gave a monkey at the zoo a picture of John Kerry to rip up. What douches...they have no respect. Speaking of no respect, I overheard my own mother talking to my sister (who mind you has never registered to vote before and she's 25) saying that the only reason I voted for Kerry was because I wanted to do something different than my parents. My dad laughed at me when I told him about it and insisted that it's a good thing that Bush got reelected. Fuck that. They give me no credit and I'm 18 years old...a legal adult. I hate that they are so ignorant sometimes...

I'm buying tickets to a concert tomorrow. 'Not So Silent Night' on December 15th with music by Switchfoot, Bowling for Soup, Gavin Degraw, etc. Not a big fan of some of the musicians, but since Switchfoot will be playing, I'm there. I fucking love Swithfoot. Finally, something to look forward to.

Sorry I'm complaining... Here are pictures I took today for some cheap laughs:

Now What?

And the winner is....a douche bag

I've spent the last 24 hours feeling completely dissapointed, and frankly pissed. But, after watching John Kerry's conceding speech, I realized I'm gonna have to put up with GWB for another 4.

Last night I attended an election party with Alex and Mike. Surprisingly it wasn't one of those weird college social events where 4 people show up, but it was an all out partay with free food, big screen tvs, news reporters, and best of all...the step team! Two rooms were occupied for the night with coverage of the election results: One for the Democrats w/ CNN and Daily Show, and the other for the bastards, sorry Republicans playing, you guessed it...Fox News.

Here's the Democrat room. (Mike and Alex apparently weren't ready for the pic)

VOTE OR...P. Diddy Will Murder You

It's the eve of election! I guess I'm excited for tomorrow, although I do think that we won't recieve the verdict tomorrow evening. God, I hope Bush isn't reelected...

Vote For Kerry, damnit
John Kerry

You know what song makes me want to murder everyone, because I hate it that much? KC and Jo Jo "Crazy". I'm not sure what it is about that song, but every time I hear it, I want to slit my throat.

Daydream Believer

Don't you love editing pictures too?

mandyandme2
I know, its kinda creepy

I've noticed recently my state of mind has changed 180 degrees in the past 6 months. Well, not entirely, but in most cases. The way I perceive my future, the past, school, politics, even the way I feel about certain movies.

It seems like it takes me a day or so to decide whether or not I like a movie or not. One movie in particular I didn't necessarily love until now. I reccomend the movie Saved! to everyone b/c it has a kickass message to it. I definitely misunderstood it the first time around, so if you haven't seen it, I suggest you do so b/c it really changed me...wow, that was corny

Democrats are Sexy

Thought I'd add this picture. Could she be any hotter now?

"God, I am so funny"...you made my day!

Politics, Schmolitics

Today the Republican club's table broke and fell over spilling papers in the lobby of HSS building...let's hope that's a sign for the future.

In my algebra class, there is this nasty, fat, smelly middle aged man who wears Bush/Cheney pins and stickers all over his clothing. He wears this one shirt w/ a pair of flip-flops w/ a giant X through them saying "No flip-flops". On the back of his shirt, it has a pic of Kerry in the 'who wants to be a millionare' hot seat w/ the question "Is that your final answer"...what a dick. I'm glad people like him represent Bush supporters.

I forgot to the online photo storage website where I keep my dig. pictures. I think it started w/ an F. Help...

Kristen called today and we talked about shit while I ate chips and queso. UTSA fucking sucks. I envy everyone who is having a great time in college, b/c I'm sure not. I feel like a fucking loner. Kristen wants Alex and I to drive up for a weekend to A&M and hang out. Anything that gets me out of San Antonio is fine, even if it is College Station.

I have to take a narley dump...laters for now.

I'm Back, Beeotch!

Holy shit, finally after what seems like a lifetime, my God damned computer is fixed, and I can once again write about my shallow and pathetic life! Weehaw!

I hate San Antonio

I just watched a show on VH1, yes you heard me, called "Motormouth". It's another hidden camera show where they film people singing and doing funny shit alone in the car. If I was on that show, I would kill myself b/c I do some messed up shit alone in the car. I bet I could outsing Celine Dion. And to keep things fresh, I throw in some funky dance moves like the robot.

I saw The Grudge last night. Shitty ass movie, do not see it. If you watch the preview, you've basically watched the entire movie.

Why do my hands smell like urine?

It seems like all I do is go to school, and work, and then I got to school, and then I work a little more. The money is good, but how I spend it one night a weekend is beyond me. Oh, today at work, this fight broke out between two fat middle aged guys. It was hilarious.

Next weekend is halloween, and I don't have a costume, or plans. Kill me. Halloween is my fucking favorite holiday. (If you can call it a holiday). I really wanna be the Frank the rabbit from Donnie Darko, but how the hell am I gonna do that? Maybe I'll just wear a red hood/cape thing and be the creatures from The Village. Or, maybe I could wear a sign that says " I suck" and be The Grudge.

Apparently, I'm running out of lame ass jokes, so I'll call it a night and go eat some raisins or something. Laters, for now.

Damn...

My Internet Explorer decided to stop working b/c I was fooling around w/ my Internet Security thing to fix Limewire. I got LW to work, but now IE doesn't. Shoot me in the face please. I'm using Netscape right now, and it won't let me post pics on my blog, so when I get IE fixed, come back b/c I have lots of hilarious pictures, bitches. Laters for now!

Shove It Up Your Ass

Geez, I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a while. Not like your lives depended on reading my incredibly pathetic life anyway...Oh, by the way, my title has nothing to do w/ anything. I just wanted a title to make me laugh when I went back one day to read all of my titles...yes, I am sad.

I'm listening to Keane "Somewhere Only We Know"...ridiculously awesome song.

I spent yesterday afternoon in the hospital. On Monday, my dad complained of having chest pain, so my mom took him to the emergency room, just in case. My Nanny went to the hospital w/ chest pain, and died, so it kinda freaked us out a little. They ended up keeping him overnight due to an overreactive **insert medical mumbo jumbo** gland, but it was alright in the morning. They put him through a few stress tests, and decided that he need to have a catheter put in his leg to look at his heart. I got to see him before he went into surgery which was good. He was having the same surgery that my Nanny had. She died of complications afterwards, but he was okay and came home last night around 11 w/ my mom. I'm still not sure what the hell was wrong, but as long as he's alright it doesn't really matter.

I'm going to Aggieland w/ Alex this weekend to see Kim and Kristen. I hope Kristen gets us into trouble somehow. God, I miss seeing my sister and Kristen...good times.

So my Papa is getting re-married in 2 weeks, so my parents have to fly down to Alabama for the wedding. My dad is super pissed b/c its so soon, and the only reason he's marrying this lady he's known for 3 months is b/c he's lonely. He just won't admit it. Papa's always been stubborn...his whole life, so when my dad told him that he thought it was too soon, he's acted like a jerk recently. We also found out that his new wife-to-be has been listening in on all the conversations...its like high school, except w/ old people.

I'm listening to John Mayer "Daughters"

School is decent...I met some people in my Sociology class, and they're pretty cool. I'm getting tired of UTSA. I don't feel like its where I'm supposed to be. I don't fit in. The people are nice and all, but I just don't feel like its where I need to be right now. Suck...

Enough for now, I have to piss so bad...laters

My Life: Rated R for language, and sexual references

Nothing new lately...

Classes are goin pretty smoothly so far, and I'm actually enjoying my Sociology class. We have research papers due about the 14th week of school, and it can focused on any problems in society. I've chosen to write mine on high school cliques, what causes them, what are the consequences of them (like depression and suicide), etc...but enough about school.

I work 6 hr shifts every day this weekend including Friday night. HEB informed me that they would like to promote me to checker. I guess thats pretty cool, since I'd make more money. It sucks not being able to have a weekend w/out work.

I rented 2 more movies, but only watched one of them so far. Harrison's Flowers starring Andy Mcdowell, Adrien Brody, and Brendan Gleeson is about a photojournalist who takes photographs in war stricken countries for a living. While in Ugoslavia in the early 90's, he is presumed dead, but his wife doesn't believe it, so she goes on this journey to find him and experiences the war first hand. The other movie I rented was Brotherhood of the Wolf. I've always wanted to see it, but never got around. I think its a foreign film...yipee!

Anyway, I'm going to go see Hero w/ Alex this afternoon and I need to get some reading done beforehand...laters for now!
