Tonight, Tonight

Not much to post about tonight...just a summary of my evening with mostly pictures.

We celebrated Laura's 25th birthday! We started off the night by having cocktails instead of cake, so you can guess where the night was going afterwards. We then drove up to the Melting Pot for dinner. Those of you who have never heard of this restaurant, it serves fondue. I enjoyed the idea of eating something different, although I didn't get nearly enough satisfy my appetite.

After that, we drove back home, and the younger people crammed into a limo that Kevin rented for Laura. We drove downtown, and stopped at Hotel Valencia where they are staying the night, and visited the bar for a little while. Laura and Kevin stayed, but the rest of us rode back in the limo and called it a night.

I told you there wasn't much to blog about. Oh wait, I have bad news...for me. I have to work tomorrow (New Year's Eve) until 11pm...fuck me.

I forgot! I saw two more movies recently. Phantom of the Opera was alright. I had never seen the play, so I was pretty interested to see the actual story. When I got to the theater, it was a total vagina fest...only dude there. (Pretty embarassing) Also, I thought all the actors lip synced while some professional sang the music, but turns out all of the actors sang their parts except for Minnie Driver...Even Emmy Rossum (Day After Tomorrow, Mystic River)...very impressive.

The other flippin great movie I saw yesterday was Sideways...Oh...My...God...this movie was so fucking brilliant. EVERYONE GO SEE IT! It was hilarious and really really smart. It deserves recognition at the awards coming up fo sho (I promis I'll never use that phrase ever again)...Definitely one of my favorites this year!

Anyway, here are the pictures from tonight that I promised.

Can I Have Some of Your Tots?

I love watching clips from Walker Texas Ranger on Conan O'Brien...

The entire family is in town. I can't remember if I mentioned this in my previous blog, but I'm too lazy to go back and check.

I saw a couple of movies recently. Meet the Fockers was okay, but not as funny or original as the first. I also just saw Limony Snickets tonight. It was really good.

I'm having trouble finding things to write about.

Kristen, Mike, and Steph Lee left town early this morning for California...They were all invited to play in the Rosebowl parade with some band full of musical prodigies. They also get to go to Disney World. But I'm not jealous or anything. I get to sit at home, eat leftovers, and watch re-runs of Who's the Boss...bitch.

Oh shit! How could I forget to mention my new obsession. After listening to much hype about the movie Napoleon Dynamite, I actually rented it the other day. Now, I can't stop quoting it. It has the best one-liners ever...GOSH!

Napoleon: "Can you do me a favor then...can you bring me my chapstick?"
Kip: "No, Napoleon"
Napoleon: "But my lips hurt real bad!"
Kip: " Just borrow some from the school nurse. I know she has like five stick in her drawer..."
Napoleon: " I'm not gonna use hers, you sicko..."

Laura's 25th birthday is Thursday...we're going to the Melting Pot for fondue. Kevin has a suprise planned for her afterwards, but I can't say anything about it yet because she might read this...sneaky bitch.

Yet again, here are some pictures from the past few days...

There's Always Tomorrow...

I know, I know, it's been a few days since I've blogged. Kristen is a douche and won't stop harassing me to update my blog, so here I am once again giving into constant bickering...damn.

Suprisingly, a lot has happened over the break. Nothing really that exciting. Kristen came into town last wednesday though! I was at the Not So Silent Night Concert which was pretty fun. Actually, everyone sucked really bad except Gavin Degraw and Switchfoot.

After the concert at Las Palapas...

I officially hate Ryan Cabrerra. He should be shot in the throat, so we never have to hear him sing. Seriously though, he sings through his nose, his hair is 2 ft. tall, and he's only famous because of the Ashlee Simpson show...

I've gone to the mall a lot recently to finish up shopping. I'm never going to wait till the last minute to shop at the mall, b/c it's fucking chaos this time of year. You can barely park, or even walk at North Star...fuck it. A funny thing did happen though the other day. I went to Build-A-Bear with Kristen and Alex b/c Alex was making a bear for his aunt (I bet it was secretly for him). Anyway, for those who haven't heard of this store, you basically stand in a 45 minute line to stuff, and dress a teddy bear...insanity.

The people that work there are completely obsessed with teddy bears and are, in a sense, creepy. They apparently have to go through a routine where, while stuffing the bear, they make the person buying it hug, kiss, and perform other embarassing acts as if they were 10 years old. Alex looked pretty humiliated...it was priceless.

I have to work Christmas Eve until 8:30...fuck HEB

I saw an okay movie today with Kevin called 'What the $&*! Do We Know'. It was pretty interesting, I guess. Very different. The entire theme of the movie was based on metaphysics and complicated shit like that. Some parts of the film seemed like a science video you're forced to watch in a psychology class. I don't recommend this movie to anyone who hates listening to very open minded theories of reality. It's some trippy shit...

I've forgotten everything that I was going to write about, so I'm just gonna post some retarded pictures again...

I had a little too much fun at Red Robin...Have you noticed how often I wear the 'Brooklyn' shirt...perhaps, I just take a lot of pictures in it.

If They Mated...

The other day, my mom was telling my about this new show coming soon called "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search" on NBC. One of Laura's friends from Dallas is a model and is gonna be appearing on the show...I thought that was pretty cool, but apparently Laura doesn't b/c she thinks her boobs are fake.

I don't know about you, but one of my favorite things about watching Late Night with Conan O'Brien is the segment called "If They Mated..." Some of my favorites are as follows:

Mandy Moore and Zach Braff
zachandmandy
zachandmandy2

Milla Jovovich and Yoko Ono and John Lennon's son
milla
milla2
She looks like a girl in my algebra class...

And Finally, Lindsay Lohan and Chad Michael Murray

Anyway, tonight is the Switchfoot concert, and I'm stoked!
switchfoot

Kristen is also comin back home so thats cool too. I have to fucking finish all my Christmas Shopping soon so I can just get it all over with and relax the rest of the break with my friends...

Here's a random picture of my dog...
Picture 172

I saw Finding Neverland the other night with Fall, Alex, and Ashley. It was pretty good...Also, we had a huuuge theater to ourselves since it was 10:10 on a Mondy, but as the previews started, a few more people walked in...bastards. I've always wanted to have a movie theater to myself.

Right now, I'm gonna go to Wal-Mart, so laters for now...

B-Sides in Slow Motion...

Tonight, I was driving home from Sonic eating an ice cream cone and listening to a CD. Apparently I hadn't noticed the paper wrapping on the botton of the cone, and after I had taken a few good bites, I realized what I had just consumed...

I think my mind is focused on getting threw with the next few days. Tomorrow I work an eight and a half hour shift at HEB, which will give me very little time to cram for my two finals on Monday. Fuck.

Wednesday is the Not So Silent Night Concert and it's gonna kick ass.

I was reading my recent issue of PREMIERE magazine and crapped myself b/c there are so many movies I need to see before the Oscars. I hate watching the Oscars and not knowing what the hell half of the movies are. Here's the list:

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
A Very Long Engagement
Spanglish
Kinsey
Oceans 12
Bad Education
The Motorcycle Diaries
Ray
The Sea Inside
Beyond the Sea
Million Dollar Baby
etc...etc...

I love watching Comedy Central late at night when there are no censors. Whoever said cursing was unnecessary was full of fucking bullshit...teehee

So yea, I named this blog B-Sides because I thought I'd post some pictures from the past that nobody has really ever seen. I did, although, decide not to post the pictures from the night I got drunk and raped by twelve Korean whores...(jk)

You asked for it:

Dunzo

I'm gonna start off tonight's blog as I have started off many blogs before: by mentioning the fact that I haven't blogged in a while. It's not that I haven't found the time to get on the computer, it's just that I have nothing interesting to blog about at the given moment.

I'm officially obsessed with facebooking. If there were such a thing as Obsessive Compulsive Facebooking Disorder (aka OCFD), I would have it...

I saw CLOSER this weekend and almost shat myself b/c it was that unbelievably great. It's been a while since I've seen a movie and completely forgotten that I'm watching actors in pretend situations since Lost in Translation. I'm not gonna rant and rave about the movie on my blog, b/c you could probably get a more interesting review at www.bobbyfinger.com ...it's the shit.
closer

I made a CD today to listen to while I'm driving. I like driving. I like driving and listening to music. I do a lot of weird things in the car. Sometimes, if I'm quiet for long periods of time like in class, I get in the car and scream "FUCK!" or "DAMNIT!" or "GO SUCK A FUCK" at the top of my lungs to relieve myself.

Finals are starting this week...fuck.

My blogs are sort of like my dreams. They're really choppy, and don't make much sense. They don't tell a story...

Today I spent about 3 and a half hours at the school with Danielle and Allie to study for our history final on Thursday. Needless to say, we got absolutely nothing accomplished. I did get some great pictures taken though!

This photo disturbs me
